Final overwintering class of the year.
As the temperatures start to drop and the rain comes back, the bees have one more chance to get some help before it gets too cold and rainy to safely inspect brood. Come join us to learn how to decrease your moisture in your colonies and keep your bees as warm as possible. This will also include more mite checks as keeping the mites off your winter cluster is essential.
The cost of this class will be $65 per session and is NON-REFUNDABLE due to the fact that it is a small class & fills up fast. This class will be taught by Danny Najera.
You will need to bring the following:
•Lunch/drinks
•Bee Suit
•Hive Tool
•Bee Brush
You may also be required to lift heavy bee boxes.
We will provide the rest of the tools that are needed, smokers etc,
PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE CLASS WITHOUT A FULL COVERALL WITH A VEIL! We have Suits available at our store.
We only have room for 10 people per class, so if you’d like to join us please stop by the store a soon as possible to sign up or call 425-432-1213.
