Beekeeping 205 – Packages and Nucs – Installation and Treatment April 19th 12:00 – 2:00pm
Beginning beekeepers often get their honeybees by purchasing packages or by purchasing Nucs (Nucleus colonies). Here we will spend a short time in lecture discussing the configuration and installation of packages, nucs, and the post-installation treatment. Then we will go out and install some and check on any of the overwintered colonies.

Please note, you’re required to have protective beekeeping wear for this course.

For your convenience we carry different types of protective gear in various sizes here at the store.

The course fee is $40 and will be held at the Bees in the ‘Burbs store complex (28634 Maple Valley Black Diamond Road SE, Maple Valley 98038). Please call or stop by the store to sign up.
Warm regards,
Norm Holcomb
