Saturday, April 28th 12:30 – 3:00pm Rockridge Orchards – Enumclaw /’Burbs Store
•REQUIRED: Bee Suit (Full Coverall with Veil) & Gloves

We have an awesome opportunity for 10 people (per class) to join us for a day of beekeeping!

Early Spring Buildup Management and installs. During this session we will focus on making sure the brood have enough space to build up and resources spaced properly. At this point we want to encourage fast growth across the apiary and start the prevention of swarming. This means making sure the bigger colonies don’t want to swarm, so we can share their resources to the weaker colonies. Last, we will build up the apiary count by installing nucs.

The cost of this class will be $50 per session and is NON-REFUNDABLE due to the fact that it is a small class & fills up fast.

This class will be taught by Danny Najera.

You will need to bring the following:
•Lunch/drinks
•Bee Suit
•Hive Tool
•Bee Brush
You may also be required to lift heavy bee boxes.
We will provide the rest of the tools that are needed, smokers etc,
PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE CLASS WITHOUT A FULL COVERALL WITH A VEIL! We have Suits available at our store.

We only have room for 10 people per class, so if you’d like to join us please stop by the store a soon as possible to sign up or call 425-432-1213.

Warm regards,
Norm Holcomb
