Sunday, July 22nd 9am – 11:30am Mt. Si Nursery – North Bend AND
Sunday, July 22nd 12:30 – 3:00pm’Burbs Store/ Rockridge Orchards – Enumclaw

•REQUIRED: Bee Suit (Full Coverall with Veil) & Gloves

We have an awesome opportunity for 10 people (per class) to join us for a day of beekeeping!

Checking on honey supers and minimizing honey swarming!
Come learn ways to optimize your honey harvest by seeing when to add supers and when to let the bees keep filling up their current boxes. Some of the colonies are really strong right now, while others are struggling. We will be doing more equalizing to make sure we keep the strong colonies from swarming. We will check on the pollen traps as well.

The cost of this class will be $50 per session and is NON-REFUNDABLE due to the fact that it is a small class & fills up fast.

This class will be taught by Danny Najera.

You will need to bring the following:
•Lunch/drinks
•Bee Suit
•Hive Tool
•Bee Brush
You may also be required to lift heavy bee boxes.
We will provide the rest of the tools that are needed, smokers etc,

PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE CLASS WITHOUT A FULL COVERALL WITH A VEIL! We have Suits available at our store.

We only have room for 10 people per class, so if you’d like to join us please stop by the store a soon as possible to sign up or call 425-432-1213.

Warm regards,
Norm Holcomb
