Preparing for the honey flow. The buds of Himalayan blackberry will give way to a nectar rich flower with 5 pink/white petals. During this time, most colonies will put on more weight in honey than the rest of the year (in our region). Come learn first hand what the honeybees need to be most successful in maximizing their honey production while keeping the mites low.

The cost of this class will be $50 per session and is NON-REFUNDABLE due to the fact that it is a small class & fills up fast.

This class will be taught by Danny Najera.

You will need to bring the following:
•Lunch/drinks
•Bee Suit
•Hive Tool
•Bee Brush
You may also be required to lift heavy bee boxes.
We will provide the rest of the tools that are needed, smokers etc,
PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE CLASS WITHOUT A FULL COVERALL WITH A VEIL! We have Suits available at our store.
